Direct non-oxidative methane conversion (DNMC) is one of the most promising options to convert (CH4) in natural gas remote extraction sites liquid aromatics, which easier transport compared CH4 gas. The main constraint DNMC low conversion, and thus aromatics product yield due thermodynamic limitation. This work reports a recycle reactor/hydrogen (H2) membrane separator achieve high by circumventing took place over an iron/silica (Fe/SiO2) catalyst packed-bed reactor produce C2 (i.e. ethane, ethylene acetylene) along with reaction H2. stream passed through condenser collect aromatic products then H2-permeable remove unreacted CH4, H2 residual were sent loop for next round removal. results demonstrated that >90 % selectivity toward >50 are achieved reactor/ system.
